Truly Global. Although there are a number of institutions and organizations dedicated to social entrepreneurship; The Unreasonable Institute is relentlessly global about it. Our Fellows will come from every corner of the world. Since the issues we face today are no longer only local, our Fellows come from every corner of the world.
Young People. The Unreasonable Institute is developed by, directed by, and dedicated to incubating young social entrepreneurs between the ages of 20 and 30.
Summer Institute. We offer up to 25 young social entrepreneurs a year the chance to attend our intensive, 8-week Summer Institute. This is where the magic happens. Read more
We Practice What We Preach. The Unreasonable Institute is a for-purpose enterprise designed to be self-sustaining, scalable, and copylefted! We embody the model we require of our Fellows.
Social Investment Marketplace. Our online marketplace for social investment will finance Unreasonable Fellows and their ventures. Once proven effective, we will open the marketplace to the world enabling social entrepreneurs everywhere to obtain feedback and financing (think kiva.org for social ventures). Read more
