MILLEE: Learning Games for Teaching English
Knowledge of English vastly increases economic opportunities for low-income children in India, but few children are learning sufficient English in schools. MILLEE combines a scientific and market-based approach to improving English education in India. Already pervasive in low-income communities, each year affordable mobile phones become more and more powerful. MILLEE leverages this evolving platform to deliver high quality learning games that can be held accountable to scientific data–data that MILLEE continuously collects about the progress of individual students.
