Dr. Luftig teaches courses at the University of Colorado in the Engineering Management Program in the Quality Sciences, Operations Research, Total Quality Management/Systems, Business Performance Excellence, Ethical Decision Making in Management, and Statistical Methods at the graduate (M.S.) level.
He does this after having found and led an organization that specialized in the development and delivery of training and consulting services in business performance improvement and the quality sciences. His client base consisted of companies throughout North and South America, Asia, Europe, and Australia; including Anheuser-Busch, ALCOA (U.S. and Australia), Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Inland Steel, Applied Magnetics, Molex, Chiquita Foods, Earthgrains, DuPont Chemical Company, Hughes Aircraft, IBM, Motorola, TRW, and Whirlpool.
It all started in 1985 with a single principal and one part-time secretary, and was built into an organization of more than 40 employees with offices in the US, Britain, and Australia.
