Based in New York, Lindsay is a manager at SustainAbility (founded by Power of Unreasonable People author John Elkington). Her consulting portfolio includes companies within finance, food, and healthcare sectors across the themes of innovation, access, and new market entry. Her research and thought leadership focus on business opportunities in low-income markets, the challenges and opportunities of urbanization, and social innovation.
Previously, Lindsay led the Publications and Research team at Intellecap, a social investment advisory firm based in India, where she was the Managing Editor of the leading industry publications Microfinance Insights and Beyond Profit, a magazine she conceptualized. There, she also managed a multi-year research grant focused on trends in urban poverty in South Asia.
Lindsay has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Virginia, and is a freelance writer for The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. She has extensive knowledge of microfinance, social enterprise, development innovation, brand strategy, social media, gender and women’s leadership, and publishing.
