Ms. Waits heads the global Business Development team for Nokia Research Center (NRC). NRC spans thirteen sites across the world and delivers new technologies and innovation as well as new business opportunities to Nokia’s global business units. Ms. Waits is passionate about addressing real-life customer needs and brings this focus to her work of guiding and nurturing mobile consumer products and services for both developed and emerging markets. The common driver of the NRC business development team is to bring great value to everyday people, with the mobile device as the centerpiece.
Based in Silicon Valley, Ms. Waits has an extensive strategy, business development, and mergers and acquisitions background. An escapee from the practice of law, Ms. Waits spends her (limited) free time learning to drive faster, shuttling her daughter to horse shows and playing the violin.
