"Colorado GreenTech micro-VC"
Describe yourself briefly.
I am the founder and managing director of Aravaipa Ventures, the sole Colorado-Only GreenTech Startup Fund. Aravaipa tries to fill the gap between friends+family and VCs and help build a GreenTech future for Colorado.
Starting in the Romaco Group in the early 90s, I have gained experienced in being the Executive Chairman of multiple companies. Working closely with the management teams as their cheerleader, brainstorming partner and constructive critic. Supporting and working with CEOs without ever wanting to do their job has become second nature.
To live our green conviction, my wife & I built the second LEED Platinum home in Colorado, featuring the first Greywater Reuse system in the City of Boulder.
Describe why you are an Unreasonable Mentor.
The Unreasonable Institute represents all that is good about our world, all that gives us hope in mankind. It is an honor to bring my modest contribution to this venture.
